From the north/O’Hare Airport:Take the Kennedy Expressway‚ I-90 east. Continue on the Kennedy to the Dan Ryan‚ I-90/94 east. Exit at Taylor. Turn right (west) and travel one block to the intersection of Taylor and Halsted. Turn right (north) onto Halsted and travel one-half block.
From the west:Take the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) to the Racine Avenue exit. Turn right (south) to Harrison Street. Turn left (east) onto Harrison and proceed to Halsted. Turn right (south) and go one block.
From the east:Take Harrison Street west to Halsted Street and turn (left) south into the campus.
From the south:Take the Dan Ryan Expressway (I-90/I-94) and exit on Roosevelt Road. Tuen left (west) on Roosevelt Road to Halsted Street; then turn right (north) on Halsted Street to the campus.

From the north/O’Hare Airport:Take the Kennedy Expressway (I-90/I-94) to the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) westbound and keep to the right; take the second exit from the Eisenhower Expressway‚ which is Ashland Avenue; take Ashland Avenue south to Taylor Street; then go west on Taylor Street to the campus.
From the west:Take the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) to the Ashland Avenue exit; take Ashland Avenue south to Taylor Street; then go west on Taylor Street to the campus.
From the east:Take Harrison Street or Roosevelt Road west to Wood Street. If you take Harrison Street‚ go south on Wood Street to the campus‚ or from Roosevelt Road go north on Wood Street to the campus.
From the south:Take the Dan Ryan Expressway (I-90/I-94) and exit on Roosevelt Road (1200 south). Take a left onto Roosevelt Road. Go west on Roosevelt Road to Wood Street; then go north on Wood Street to the campus.

From the north/O’Hare Airport:Take the Kennedy Expressway East (I-90/94) to the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) westbound and keep to the right. Take the first exit from the Eisenhower Expressway‚ which is Morgan Street; then take a left onto Morgan Street and proceed one block. Make a right onto Harrison Street and proceed one block.
From the west:Take the (I-290) Eisenhower Expressway East to the Racine Avenue exit; then go right onto Racine Avenue. Proceed one block to the corner of Racine and Harrison Street where the Student Services Building is located.
From the east:Go west on Roosevelt Road. Make a right onto Halsted Street. Proceed three blocks and make a left onto Harrison Street. Proceed two additional blocks to the Student Services Building on the corner of Racine Avenue and Harrison Street.
From the south:Take the Dan Ryan Expressway West (I-90/94) and exit on Roosevelt Road (1200 south). Take a left onto Roosevelt Road. Proceed half a block to Halsted Street and make a right. Proceed three blocks and make a left onto Harrison Street. Proceed two additional blocks to the Student Services Building on the corner of Racine Avenue and Harrison Street.

For all events taking place in Student Center East‚ parking is available in the Halsted and Taylor Street Parking Structure (760 West Taylor Street). The entrance to this parking structure is on Taylor Street. Upon entry‚ guests should take a ticket and upon exit‚ guests should present this ticket to the cashier and pay the appropriate total (cash‚ debit cards‚ and credit cards are accepted at this lot).
For all events taking place in the Student Services Building‚ parking is available in the Harrison Street Parking Structure (1100 West Harrison Street) and Lot 18 (525 South Throop Street-located on top of the Student Services Building). Upon entry to the Harrison Street Parking Structure‚ guests pay the cashier the appropriate total (cash‚ debit cards‚ and credit cards are accepted at this lot) and display a ticket. Upon entry to Lot 18‚ guests should take a parking ticket and have it validated at the Parking Office (located inside the Student Services Building) in order to exit the facility. When using Lot 18‚ it is the responsibility of guests to have their parking ticket validated prior to the closing of the Parking Office at 6:00 pm (Monday – Friday). The Parking Office is located in Room 2620 of the Student Services Building.
For all events taking place in Student Center West‚ parking is available in the Wood Street Parking Structure (1100 South Wood Street). Upon entry‚ guests should take a ticket and upon exit‚ guests should present this ticket to the cashier and pay the appropriate total (cash‚ debit cards‚ and credit cards are accepted at this lot).
*Parking stickers are available for purchase at the Office of Meetings and Conferences. Please contact your event coordinator for further details.
Public Transportation Heading link
UIC is easily reached by public transportation. The CTA provides many lines that connect and get you to the many destinations in the city. The Blue Line has a UIC – Halsted stop‚ located about one block north of the Student Center East.
Metra Stations are a short walk or cab ride from campus. These trains come in from the suburbs.
